If you are a journalist, you can choose to use the media registration function on WeChat Mini Apps of Auto Shanghai 2023, which includes media registration, media login, and group registration functions. You at least need to provide your name, cellphone number, e-mail address, ID document number (including but not limited to Chinese Citizen ID number/ code number on Mainland Travel Permit for Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan Residents/ passport number. 3. Identity Authentication

To meet the relevant legal and inspection demands regarding the authenticity of the users’ identity, anti-fraud risk controls and the insurance of the systematic and service safety, we need to collect your relevant personal information for identity check when you are using specific services/functions, such as:

a. Camera Control Access: after switching on the access, you can use the camera functions to finish taking the photos/clips and uploading them. E.g. you need to upload the photo of your name card during the pre-registration or upload verification materials during the media registration.

b. Photo Control Access (external information storage): you can choose to agree/deny our access to the photos on your device. If you want to agree our access, you can directly use the photos on your device to upload materials for ID checks. Nonetheless, if you choose to deny our access to the photos on your device, you can only upload materials for ID checks by taking photos.

Please understand and acknowledge that the upgrade of the functions of Auto Shanghai 2023 official platform might lead to possible changes regarding the types of control access and scenarios/purposes. Please follow the latest version. 

C. Third-party plug-ins or other similar apps

To make specific functions operate, we might have to use plug-ins provided by tha third party. Please refer to the disclosed official announcement for the rules of handling personal information for third-party plug-ins. The information of the plug-ins used at present is as follows:

We will not share your personal information with any other individuals/companies/organizations except the Auto Shanghai 2023 official platform unless under the following situations:

If we decide to respond to your request, we meanwhile also have to inform the subject(s) that receive(s) the information from us and ask for an in-time deletion (unless there are other regulations or these subjects have received your authorization independently).

When you (or we help you to) delete concerning information, due to the limitation of laws and safety regulations, we might not be able to delete the corresponding information from the backup system immediately. Auto Shanghai 2023 Official Platform: refers to official website platform for Auto Shanghai 2023 (Website: www.autoshanghai.org)

Service provider of Auto Shanghai 2023: refers to Shanghai International Exhibition (Group) Co. Ltd., the provider of internet information and software & technological services of Auto Shanghai 2023.

Affiliated Company: when the companies are direct/indirect subsidiaries of each other, the relation between them can be called as affiliated. Two (or more than two) companies falling under the same umbrella may also be identified as affiliated. A key factor in affiliation is the control (direct or indirect) of one business, which is made possible via executing the voting right, setting up contracts, etc., and is manifested by its ramification influence on the management or decision-making process.

Personal Information: refers to any kinds of information related to identified/identifiable natural person and recorded electronically or in other ways (not including the information after anonymization)

Sensitive Personal Information: refers to the personal information that will easily lead to the infringement of the dignity of the natural person or hazards to personal and property safety once leaked or used illegally.
